Epix Construction Company of Arlington, Virginia hired T4 to manage the installation of new systems and private office furniture supplied by the AllSteel company for the new American Consulate Annex building adjacent to the main consulate building in Karachi, Pakistan. Epix supplied a local labor crew that included two carpenters and eight semi-skilled workers and an electrician. Over the course of a month, T4 trained and supervised this raw crew of furniture recruits to unload, stage, and install some 180 open plan workstations and 10 private offices as well as open area furniture, training area furniture, and conference rooms. The local crew proved themselves to be eager learners and disciplined workers and quickly grasped the installation protocols and procedures being taught to them by T4. It is not an overstatement to say that the construction and project managers were impressed not only by T4’s managerial and training expertise but in equal portion were impressed by their own local workers who demonstrated a committment to quality work.
