Based on T4’s earlier performance outfitting the New Embassy Compound offices, the American Embassy selected T4 to outfit the Public Diplomacy Offices located in a seperate high rise office building in Ashgabat. T4 used its primary furniture partner company, Teknion, to provide workstation clusters based on 1100 mm high panels with glass add on toppers. The effect was to create a light, open space where the balance between individual privacy and group collaboration was easily accommodated. Each workstation also included overhead storage cabinets mounted upwards from the panels (vs. hanging off the panels) using Teknion’s unique upmount bracket. The package also included LED sensor lighting, dual monitor holders, ample storage and state of the art seating. T4 also provided floor to ceiling enclosures with sliding doors to create individual meeting areas without resorting to disruptive drywall carpentry. The Public Diplomacy section manages the American Library and holds many public forums and educational events in addition to English classes.
