The American Embassy hired T4 to undertake the interior renovation of a large open space in the Chancellary building housing the General Services staff. Included in the list of responsibilities was the takedown of existing systems furniture and bundled it for donation to local NGOs in a way to make it easier to reassemble the many parts and pieces involved; remove and dispose of the old carpeting, re-paint the interiors space, purchase locally and install new carpet using carpet tiles; install new cove base around the permitter, move the new furniture to the office and assemble it. T4 identified a local carpentery company familiar with furniture installation to assist with the takedown of the old furniture and installation of the 75+ new open plan workstations from Knoll. T4 also identified and hired a local commercial carpeting company to remove and dispose of the old carpet and install new carpet tiles and cove base. T4 also hired and supervised the repainting of the interiors prior to installing the new furniture. A complete interior renovation.
