Kabul, Afghanistan – US Agency for International Development Mission (USAID) – supply, ship, deliver and install new training facility furniture.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Afghanistan closed August 31, 2021 and the Agency was closed worldwide in 2025. USAID was one of T4’s largest US Government diplomatic customers for the past 25 years. Included in the many projects T4 and its predecessor company, Nova International, Inc, did for USAID worldwide including Missions in Africa, the Caribbean, Central America, Central Asia and the Far East, was this challenging project to send two container of office furniture for the new training rooms built in the USAID Mission in Kabul. The furniture was manufactured by Global Total Office. The two containers were shipped via the West Coast ports in the USA to Karachi, Pakistan where T4’s cooperating agency took delivery and cleared customs both in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The containers were the moved in security escorted convoy from Karachi to Kabul where the furniture was offloaded and installed at the USAID Mission. The project finished in the spring of 2019 and the USAID Mission used the furniture until the Taliban seized the facilities in September, 2021.
