Sogebelle is Haiti’s largest mortgage lending company. A division of the SogeGroup of Companies, Sogebelle turned to its parent company to identify a company that could provide a package of interior furnishings that matched the interior design vision it’s architect, George Lescrot, intended for the Sogebelle’s renovated headquarters. It is widely recognized that Sogebelle’s HQ is among the most contemporary and best designed office buildings in Port Au Prince. Originally designed by Architect Lescrot, the renovation represented his continuing involvement in the upgrade and refresh of the building.
T4 Logistics along with their key manufacturing partners, Teknion Furniture and Global Total Office, worked with Architect Lescrot and the Ms. Karline Augustine, the deputy chief of the procurement and general services for the Soge Group, to specify and produce a package of office furniture. Included was community space furniture, customer service private offices, executive private offices, filing and storage, and shared open plan spaces incorporating benching style designs and height adjustable tables. The design included clean contemporary lines, corporate color themes, and encouraged collaboration with open space separated by full floor to ceiling glass walls. Once manufacturing was completed, T4 with its vendor partners, warehoused the product for loading into ocean containers. Working with Sogebelle’s forwarder in Haiti, T4 shipped the containers to Port au Prince. Once the interior finishing was complete, T4 along with its’ local labor contractor, unloaded, stagged, and installed all the furnishings per the interior design plan.
